This gorgeous doll is the epitome of class, created to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the death of the fashion tycoon Christian Dior, borne in the 30’s, but by 1947 he already had made a name recognizable in 24 countries, as one of the mogul in the fashion industry especially in Paris. He created the “New Look”, which was the narrow shoulders, and a full mid-calf length skirt, instead of the broad shoulders and the pencil skirt, which was the fashion during the war years. This is exactly the look of this beautiful doll, she is wearing a full pleaded black mid-calf skirt, a petticoat, a champagne taffeta fitted jacket with 5 buttons in front, black high heels pumps, “pearls” necklace and bracelet, panties, stockings, garter belt, short black gloves, a beautiful straw hat that frames her gorgeous face with impecable make-up, and covers her hair taken in the back; she also comes with her stand. I’m the only owner of this magnificent Barbie, so i know she has been away from the light, in a pet and smoke free environment and in a climate controlled temperature. The new lucky owner, will receive her fast, well wrapped and insured. Any blemishes are camera glare, that the light of the camera hits the transparent plastic window cover, but i can assure you that this doll and box are in mint condition.
